Word Communion Church ("we," "us," "our") is a registered church located at 8, Dipo Aje Street, Behind Okin Petrol Station, Agric Area, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website, in line with Nigeria's Data Protection Act / NDPR.

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you use a form on this site:

• Giving — first name, last name, phone/email, and the amount and type of gift you indicate you intend to give.
• Contact form — first name, last name, email, phone (optional), and your message.
• Prayer requests — your name (optional — you may submit anonymously) and your request.
• Plan a Visit — first name, last name, phone, email (optional), and preferred service.
• Joining a ministry/department — first name, last name, phone, email (optional), and department of interest.
• Newsletter — your email address.

We do not collect payment card details on this site. Giving is completed manually via bank transfer using the account details we provide — we never see or store your bank login or card information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your message, prayer request, or enquiry
• Confirm and follow up on giving, visits, or department interest
• Send newsletter updates, if you subscribed
• Maintain internal church records for pastoral and administrative purposes

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. Where Your Information Is Stored

Submissions are stored in a database on our web server, accessible only to authorized church administrators through a password-protected admin panel. We do not currently use any third-party marketing, CRM, or payment-processing service that would give an outside company access to this data.

This site uses a single essential session cookie for church administrators logging into the admin panel — it is required for the login to function and is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and a cookie notice will be added.

Our Children's Department programmes are for children attending with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children without parental involvement. Forms on this site are intended to be completed by parents, guardians, or adult members.
